Hermine's book Nege Ongewone Stories, has been published and it is wonderful. Flame did a great job of the design and the printers outdid themselves. The illustrations are world-class but of course it's the words that are most important. We will be doing the 'launch', the hand-over to the grandchildren on Saturday afternoon at Hermines. The kids are flying in from all over and it's likely to be quite emotional.
The process has been rewarding and exhausting in equal measure and right now I feel a bit drained. Where will it lead? I don't know, but the primary aim has been fulfilled, to give Hermine something beautiful to have and hold and pass on to her family.
