West coast cars

The Audi A1 after the supercharged Jaguar XF -R. Strangely less appealing than the diesel - and it rattled. Beautiful though, as was the rain-soaked West Coast and Red Star farm stall for coffee and breakfast (indoors for a change). Chess next to us, oddly incongruent in the environment of psuedo-pithy sayings on walls and cute bottled everythings.

Mitsubishi Pajero launch

Unusually for a launch it was on a Sunday, at Klipbokkop near Villiersdorp in the mountains above the Brandvlei dam. Great car, very capable and stimulating day out, Braam along and no sweaty palms climbing the one-in-threes.
